This large and beautiful park in Waikiki is property of the armed services and is open to the public. The Hale Koa Hotel on the premisis is only for personnel. The nicely manicured park is great for jogging and it's long strech of beach the widest in Waikiki.

Pristine Hanauma Bay was declared a protected marine life conservation area and underwater park in the late 60's. The bays ever expanding coral reef and vivarant wild life make it ideal for the novice snorler. There is a token parking and admision fee to enter the bay and all newcommers to the bay are required to view a short film on protecting the reef and wild life of the area.

Polynesian Cultural Center is Hawaii's #1 paid visitor attraction and is in it's 40th year of bringing the customs, culture and traditions of ancient Polynesia to life. Located on Oahu's northeast shore at Laie, The Polynesian Cultural Center was built by labor missionaries of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1963.

Also known as the "Punchbowl", it lies in the middle of Puowaina Crater, an extinct volcano. It was officially dedicated on September 2, 1949, on the 4th anniversary of V-J Day. Of all the national cemeteries, this one has been described as the most beautiful and the most moving.
