Allure Waikiki was developed by Chicago based Fitfield Companies who completed the project in 2010. There are 300 luxury residences with 1-3 bedroom configurations. The prominent location is at the entry of Waikiki on Kalakaua Avenue, the main thoroughfare in Waikiki. It features a large 2.3 acres of land surrounded by lush gardens. There’s a single story commercial building onsite that is slated for a commercial use.
The building has a white concrete structure that nicely frames the dual paned blue reflective glass. The building has a classic look overall with some modern accents such as curved curtain wall sections of the tower and the 2 story frameless glass curtain walls in the lobby. The traditional Hawaiian style roofs provide shade for top level condos and give the building a Hawaiian sense of place at the street level, a requirement for new Waikiki developments.
A unique feature of Allure Waikiki is that it has both single and double loaded hallways. There are enclosed hallways at the core and open hallways along the extension wing (units 08-11). The outdoor hallways are ideal for those who like to have the trade winds flow through their home. This is a popular feature with older Waikiki buildings but a first for a newer building.
